Visit www.lovesac/careers.com to learn more about careers at Lovesac!What You'll DoAs our Manager, Distribution Operations, you are responsible for managing and coordinating on-site activities related to warehousing and distribution within our 3rd party operations located in the Myerstown, PA area with additional responsibility of a 3rd party manufacturing site in North Carolina.You will develop plans and ensure operational execution related to activities which balance quality, cost and service to our internal and external customers. In addition, you will ensure key goals and objectives are met to drive superior planning and execution in the 3PL operation. This position is on-site and will be expected to report into Lovesac's 3rd party Distribution Center located in Myerstown, PA at least 4 days per week, and weekends as needed. This role will also oversee a 3rd party manufacturing warehouse in North Carolina and will require occasional onsite visits. Candidates must fully reside in the United States at all times during employment and should have the ability to travel as needed. Relocation assistance available for qualifying candidates.
  • Develop and manage the regional relationship with our 3rd party distribution partner(s) and their local management teams, with a focus on operational efficiency, operational excellence, and cost-savings.
  • Achieve operational metrics and target objectives for the region such as operational cost, service to our stores and overall customer satisfaction (CSAT).
  • Build and lead process improvement programs to drive efficiency and improved throughput and overall improvements to our operations.
  • Act as company representative for Myerstown area operations by coordinating operational activities across both companies to ensure operational excellence.
  • Audit monthly invoices to ensure accuracy, contractual adherence, and in accordance with observed activities.
  • Supervise 3rd party warehousing and distribution services as well as driving improvements to the pick, pack and ship processes to ensure increasing customer satisfaction.
  • Ensure the management and accuracy of our inventory as it is managed directly by our 3rd party. Key processes such as cycle counting, returns processing and outbound processing of orders are a focal point to our success.
  • Develop additional distribution processes and methods within our 3PL distribution centers in order to meet the future needs of the business.
  • Support the implementation of best practices across the Supply Chain and distribution operations, particularly standardization of processes across the 3PL network.
  • Assist the 3PL operation in forecasting our business into detailed plans supporting distribution network requirements.
  • Assist in coordinating the scheduling of inbound containers and outbound freight.
  • Train and coordinate product education with DC staff to establish DC SOPs for inbound, storage, and outbound operations.
  • Support end of quarter shipping activity during weekends, on site, to meet revenue targets
  • Perform any other reasonable duties for this role as requested by management.
Who You Are
  • Bachelor's degree in supply chain management, or similar discipline preferred.
  • Six Sigma/LEAN (yellow-green belt) certification preferred.
  • Minimum of 5 years' experience in supervising distribution operations, ideally a 3rd party distribution operation, including knowledge of distribution practices and technologies which support the fulfillment process.
  • Proficient in understanding the mechanics of distribution and warehousing (including processes and technology) with a focus on the consumer.
  • High level understanding of Supply Chain Management processes, including multiple years' experience in a leadership role.
  • Proven experience working with systems such as WMS & ERP. Experience implementing distribution operations or new distribution functions is also required.

  • Must be able to travel using various forms of transportation, as required by the Company in its sole discretion, for meetings and conferences held either at our offices or offsite (i.e. quarterly team connection weeks, companywide meetings, vendor visits).
