The GSC Supplier Technical Execution Manager 3 will lead the various Supplier Manufacturing Engineering teams, setting and operating to objectives and providing guidance to subordinates based on goals, objectives, and company policy. Supplier Manufacturing Engineering Field Operations and Supplier Manufacturing Engineering Operations teams are technical groups of Mechanical, Electrical, Aeronautical and Manufacturing Engineers who work to proactively resolve producibility and technical issues across the supply base and with our programs. The organization performs risk reduction and identification through proactive supplier engagement and critical part production oversight. Duties and Responsibilities: This position is a telework role and reports to the Director of GSC Programs for the Northrop Grumman Aeronautics Sector (NGAS) who is located in Redondo Beach, CA. In this role, the candidate will serve as the Manager of Supplier Manufacturing Engineering Field Operations supporting all NGAS programs. The candidate will be responsible for developing and executing GSC strategies with focus on achieving operational efficiency, safety and first-time quality targets. Candidate will be responsible for various activities, be knowledgeable of multiple disciplines across the Supply Chain organization, and exhibit end-to-end supply chain competency. Lead 3 technical teams of 50-60 direct-report engineers Provide and coordinate supplier support for NGAS programs and the Delivery Management Team (DMT) organization Provide up to daily communication guidance to the Common Products Procurement Organization and other IPT organizations regarding supplier base issues and activities Develop and track progress of GSC goals for the team and individuals Create and manage functional documents such as PrOP(s), organizational charts, and team calendars. Manage the Supplier Technical Execution organization labor and travel budgets provided by all supporting programs as well as seek out new opportunities to support NGAS and beyond Generate weekly progress reports of all supplier-critical issues to management Evaluate supplier's capability(s) when called upon for capacity issues, process control activities and make needed recommendations regarding utilization of the NGC supplier base back to the GSC organization Lead various supplier engagement activities and be a reliable and responsive POC for all GSC and Northrop Grumman leadership Create and implement team and homeroom priorities based on GSC Program Management needs. Ability to work various special projects in support of the greater organization needs Develop mentorship and training plans and prioritize teammate individuals' growth Basic Qualifications: Bachelor's Degree with at least 7 years of experience in supply chain management, project management, engineering, supplier or program quality OR a Master's Degree with at least 5 years of experience in supply chain management, project management, engineering, supplier or program quality OR High School Diploma/Equivalent with at least 9 years of experience in supply chain management, project management, engineering, supplier or program quality Must have aerospace manufacturing and supply chain experience Must have experience working with engineering documents/drawings and basic aerospace quality requirements Must have experience leading a team, process, and/or projects Must have SAP experience At minimum, an active DoD Secret level clearance is required to apply and to start the role, with the ability to obtain and maintain Special Program Access within a reasonable amount of time as determined by the Company to meet its business needs Preferred Qualifications: Exposure to major programs including F/A-18, E-2 or F-35 Understanding of various special processing Ability to prepare and present executive-level presentations Excellent communications and leadership skills Proven ability to lead with courage; make bold moves, willingness to speak up and to take on new challenges; take calculated risks, with appropriate mitigation plans; self-aware, transparent and authentic; seek feedback from others Proven ability to act with speed; understand the need for urgency to meet the needs of the business and stakeholders; decisive, drive timely decision-making; empower others with clear accountability and appropriate support Experience as an accomplished problem-solver and change-agent Salary Range: $149,400 - $224,000 The above salary range represents a general guideline; however, Northrop Grumman considers a number of factors when determining base salary offers such as the scope and responsibilities of the position and the candidate's experience, education, skills and current market conditions. Employees may be eligible for a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives.
