JOB SUMMARY The Manager of Events and Entertainment will serve as the primary point of contact for all entertainment-related inquiries, requests, and bookings for Audi Field. The Manager will be responsible for meeting annual goals by securing new business and creating relationships with industry leaders to drive non-match day event bookings during the season and in off-season. ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS, DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Manage the logistics of entertainment events, including but not limited to scheduling, budgeting, equipment rental, and transportation
- Handling all inbound inquiries from the Audi Field website, Tripleseat and Audi Field events email
- Maintain a clear understanding of stadium space capabilities including locations for power, ingress/egress points, water, etc.
- Negotiate contracts with artists, performers, DJs, and other entertainment professionals
- Preparing proposals and estimates for clients in a timely manner.
- Assist Senior Director of Events and Entertainment with strategic planning to activate the stadium on non-match days.
- Work closely with other event managers and coordinators to ensure that all aspects of the event are running smoothly
- Develop and maintain relationships with industry professionals, vendors, and suppliers
- Stay up-to-date on industry trends and developments
- Generate new ideas for entertainment programming and events
- Promote entertainment events and programs to internal and external audiences
- Evaluate the success of entertainment events and programs and make recommendations for improvement
- Prepare reports and presentations on entertainment activities as needed
- Entertain clients and prospective clients at matches and events, both on and off property.
- Maintains well-organized event records, including but not limited to pipeline reports, ROS and event recaps
- Service clients with a high level of complexity and be knowledgeable of all products and services
- Approach challenges in creative ways to achieve desired outcomes
- Collaborate with stakeholders, both internal and external, and clearly articulate needs to bring forward solutions for partners and clients
- Maintain confidential information
- Attend industry networking events regularly to represent Audi Field Events to build relationships and drive business.
- Performs other duties as assigned
REQUIREMENTS
- Bachelor's degree from an accredited university
- Minimum three to five years managing events such as festivals, grassroots marketing events, etc. Experience in entertainment is preferred
- Keen attention to detail and excellent organization skills
- Ability to handle multiple projects with competing deadlines
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and be highly adaptable
- High level of interpersonal skills to handle sensitive, confidential situations and information.
- Positive, upbeat attitude, that can lead and connect with a diverse population!
- You must provide proof of COVID-19 Vaccination prior to start date.
COMPETENCIES (KSAs)
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
- Knowledge of Tripleseat and CRM software is a plus
- Excellent communication skills both oral and written
- Must be able to lift and carry items up to 50lbs.
