Position Summary...What you'll do...Walmart is hiring a Manager, Facilities Maintenance Operations
Role Detail: - Oversees all general predictive and preventative maintenance of overall building (Plumbing, Electrical, Structural, etc.) for multiple facilities within the region. (Usually less than 200-mile radius)
- Directly leads technicians that conduct the hands-on maintenance at the facilities. (10 - 15 Direct Reports)
- Would require approximately 50% or more travel within the region.
- Leads, motivates, and develops technicians
- Works directly with Store Managers on their facility services needs
- Leads daily calls with technicians and holds them accountable
- Oversees budget
- Manages and evaluate workload
- Ensure tickets are being escalated properly
- Works directly with different vendors and contractors if needed
- Reporting and analytics
- Recruiting and hiring of technicians
Hard Skill Sets Needed: - General Facilities Services / Overall Building Maintenance Experience - 3-5 years would be optimal
- Electrical, plumbing, and or mechanical experience
- Leadership skills - Able to lead, motivate, and develop others
- Communication/Interpersonal skills
- Problem solving skills - Route cause and breakdown analysis experience
- Customer service
Soft Skill Sets Needed: - EPA Universal Certification
- PMP Certification
