ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:•Manage the activities involved in the maintenance of facilities and equipment.•Responsible for building operations including structural maintenance.•Responsible for regulatory and building code compliance.•Direct, supervise and evaluate work activities of department staff.•Provide staff management to including hiring, development, training, performance management and communication to ensure effective and efficient department operation.•Ensure safe operations and adherence to regulatory requirements.•Serve as project manager for small scale, short duration projects.•Develop and manage budget and inventory systems.•Manage the activities involved in the design and renovation projects for a facility.•Analyze metrics and make recommendations for improvements and solutions to issues that are identified.•Initiate and authorize repairs or replacements and prepare related cost estimates.•Be on-call for building emergencies.•Responsible for facility operational effectiveness and safety.OTHER FUNCTIONS:•Perform other functions and tasks as assigned.EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE/SKILL REQUIREMENTS:•Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in facilities management or operations required.•Five or more years' experience in similar position required.•One or more years of supervisory experience preferred.LICENSES/DESIGNATIONS/CERTIFICATIONS: •Valid state driver's license. •CPR certification required.•First aid may be required based on state or facility. •Valid Certified Healthcare Facility Manager (CHFM) preferred.Equal Opportunity Employer/Protected Veterans/Individuals with DisabilitiesThe contractor will not discharge or in any other manner discriminate against employees or applicants because they have inquired about, discussed, or disclosed their own pay or the pay of another employee or applicant.
