Job SummaryThe Fertigation Manager is responsible for the management of all plant fertigation activities of the facility in accordance with the Company's policies, principles, and procedures. The facility Fertigation Manager will continuously review all the operational processes, systems, assets, and methodologies used in their department and will develop a strategic and tactical operational plan that aligns with the objectives and strategies of the Company. Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Oversee implementations of fertigation methods, policies, procedures, and best practices.
- Manage all employees in the fertigation department.
- Coordinate watering and fertigation schedules.
- Ensure irrigation and fertigation are done accurately and meet quality standards.
- Perform routine testing of pH, EC, PPM filtration, irrigation systems, nutrient concentrations, etc.
- Monitor and adjust the fertigation management and climate control software.
- Manage inventory of fertigation nutrients and supplies.
- Monitor and maintain quality control measures in accordance with state and local laws.
- Adhere to company policies and Standard Operating Procedures (SOP).
- Document all activity using company's track and trace system.
- Work within company continuous improvement system and strive to increase productivity.
- Regularly clean and sanitize fertigation equipment, tools, and work areas, including dusting tanks, plumbing, etc.
- Provide support to additional cultivation, harvest, and production teams as needed to achieve facility production goals.
- Perform other duties as assigned by management.
Minimum Qualifications
- 5 years' experience in cultivation, agriculture, or production.
- 3 years' experience in a manager, assistant manager, or supervisor role.
- Working knowledge in container systems with soil and hydro as well as understanding temperature and humidity manipulation.
- Expert knowledge of plant diseases, insects, and fungi, as well as plant treatment options.
- Continuously expanding knowledge in nutrient of individual strains and high yield recipes.
- Comprehensive knowledge of Strains; Sativa, Indica and Hybrids and mastery of medicinal implementation and knowledge of effects of strains and types of medicinal administration.
- Working knowledge of OSHA and EPA regulations.
- Experience with Good Agricultural Practices and Good Handling Practices.
- Must have a positive attitude and work well with others in a team environment.
- Comfortable with heights, soil and water, and tight spaces.
- Ability to safely climb, squat, bend, twist, kneel and stand for at least 8 hours per day, and lift up to 50 pounds.
- Must be authorized to work in the United States.
- Must be 21 years of age or older and able to successfully register with the state's cannabis commission as an agent.
- Must comply with all laws, regulations, and policies associated with the industry.
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Agriculture, Business, Manufacturing or related field preferred.
- Previous experience in a regulated production facility (food, beverage, CPG, etc.) preferred.

The employee must occasionally move packages weighing up to 50 lb. Able to stand for 90% of the time. Comfortable with heights, occasionally ascends/descends a ladder to service the lights, filters, trellis netting and ceiling fans up to 25ft. Comfortable working atop and traversing scaffolding, when required. Comfortable with changing environment temperatures and humidity. Exposure to pollen, dust, dander, and other nature elements. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close observation and the ability to adjust focus.
