Job Description Summary:
We are looking for a highly motivated and strategic-minded Finance Manager to join PayPal's Finance team supporting PayPal's Global Market organization. This role will coordinate between the local Global Markets organization and various internal Finance teams to facilitate the regular financial cadences (budget, forecast actuals reporting) as well as Ad Hoc requests. This role involves preparing reports, analyzing financial data, and collaborating with various departments to provide insights to the senior leadership team for strategic decision-making.
Job Description:
Financial Analysis: Analyze financial plans, forecasts and results and key performance indicators (KPIs), identifying trends, variances, and insights to support decision-making. Work with segment FP&A teams to understand product and regional level budgets and forecast, KPIs, risks and opportunities (R&Os) and perform scenario analysis as needed.
Financial reporting: Produce regular reports for senior management, summarizing financial performance, forecasts, and variances to plan and YoY. Investigate significant variances to provide financial insights. Perform analysis for specific projects or initiatives as needed on an ad-hoc basis.
Collaboration and Communication: Help optimize financial processes for the Central Global Markets FP&A team. Work closely with other stakeholders and counterparts across the company to ensure appropriate flow of information, expectations, and timelines. Clearly communicate the results of analysis to the management team where relevant.
