POSITION SUMMARY:

This is a unique opportunity to be part of a high-profile team leading Interpublic's relationships with major pharmaceutical and consumer health clients. We work closely with senior clients and agency leaders to deliver on Interpublic's value proposition at the global holding company level, and to build on our impressive growth in this sector. In this role, you'll leverage operational skills, business knowledge, and customer focus to meet client needs and help position Interpublic for continued growth.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

This role leads operational activities and initiatives for 6+ healthcare clients.

  • Maintain client activity tracker/workflow management system for assigned clients and partner with Interpublic Client Leads to ensure high quality, efficient project delivery.
  • Organize and manage client reporting deliverables including but not limited to:
    • Quarterly agency financials, case studies, savings reports, and supplier diversity.
    • Periodic and ad-hoc client-requested reporting (e.g., inventory of agency contractual rebates, summary of annual fees/hours by SOW, agency performance review participant list).
  • Work across most or all client operational elements on key clients; able to support creation of client-specific Playbooks or resource guides.
  • Own key elements of client business reviews from information gathering from agencies, to summarizing data and creating client-ready presentations.
  • Create and present training materials for agencies to ensure procedural compliance and support implementation of client initiatives across multiple Interpublic agencies (e.g., content management platforms, AI tool tracking and approval process).
  • Gather, organize, and maintain Interpublic agency information to expedite response to new business opportunities and miscellaneous client requests.
  • Develop familiarity and proficiency with Interpublic global network with focus on agencies supporting healthcare clients across marketing disciplines such as Med Comms, Market Access, PR, Media, Events, etc.
  • Actively participate in / contribute to day-to-day client commercial discussions; able to address essential, fact-focused questions independently (e.g., financial questions, SOW processes, publicity guidance, etc.).
  • Establish relationships with agency Account, Operations and Finance colleagues around the world to facilitate coordination of agency reporting and efficient information sharing between Interpublic and agencies.

EDUCATION, SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS:

  • Bachelor's degree and minimum 5+ years of agency experience in either account management, new business, or project management/operations; at least 3 years of experience within healthcare/pharmaceutical sector.
  • Strong data analysis and data presentation skills; detail oriented.
  • Ability to synthesize input from a wide variety of internal and external sources (over 20 agency business units across 15+ countries), and present strategic summaries/recommendations to senior management.
  • Familiar with fundamental concepts of core agency-client work (i.e., brand and strategic planning, creative development, omnichannel marketing, data/analytics).
  • Experience working with agency performance and SOW management platforms (e.g., Decideware, RAM, Agency Mania); able to assess results and identify issues/opportunities at the agency level and across the relationship.
  • Familiar with commercial essentials of client-agency engagements (key MSA terms, comp model(s)).
  • Capacity to work credibly and collaboratively with clients (manager level), agencies (VP level) and senior Interpublic Corporate stakeholders.
  • Flexibility to engage with global colleagues—working with teams located in multiple time zones (Americas, Europe, Asia).
  • Comfort working in a deadline-driven environment and prioritizing rapid, timely responses.
  • Advanced Excel and intermediate PowerPoint skills:
    • Excel – Proficient in more complex excel functions including complex formulas (e.g., VLOOKUP, HLOOKUP, XLOOKUP, INDEX/MATCH, Conditional Formatting, IF/IFS, etc.).
    • PowerPoint – Proficient in essentials: creating presentation slides, integrating slides from multiple sources, creating tables and charts.

NYC SALARY RANGE:

  • The salary range for this position is $100,000 to $115,000. Where an employee or prospective employee is paid within this range will depend on, among other factors, actual ranges for current/former employees in the subject position; market considerations; budgetary considerations; tenure and standing with the company (applicable to current employees); as well as the employee's/applicant's background, pertinent experience, and qualifications.
