Description Position at SBM Management SBM Management is searching for a Manager of IT Data Solutions to join our team! The IT Data Solutions Manager will lead a cross functional data team of Data Analysts, engineers, and AI Engineers. The IT Data Solutions Manager will be responsible for managing data architectures, ETL processes, Azure Data Lake, Data Factory, SQL databases and data structure, as well as driving data analysis and visualization efforts through Business Intelligence dashboards.Responsibilities:
  • Lead and manage a team of data professionals, including a Senior Data Engineer, Data Engineer, Data Analyst, and AI Engineer.
  • Foster a collaborative and innovative team environment.
  • Provide strategic direction and technical guidance to the team.
  • Conduct regular performance reviews and provide mentorship.
  • Work closely with senior management, technical staff, and stakeholders to understand business requirements and objectives, providing data-driven solutions.
  • Manage projects and resources, set timelines and deliverables, and report on progress and issues.
  • Drive to master emerging technologies and share experiences with team members.
  • Oversee the design, development, testing, deployment, and maintenance of data architectures and data warehouse solutions.
  • Manage ETL processes to ensure data is accurately and efficiently processed.
  • Supervise the implementation and management of Azure Data Lake and Data Factory.
  • Ensure data structures are optimized for performance and scalability.
  • Ensure the security, reliability, scalability, and performance of data warehouse solutions using appropriate tools and techniques.
  • Lead efforts in data analysis to extract valuable insights from data.
  • Supervise the creation and maintenance of Power BI dashboards.
  • Work closely with stakeholders to understand their data needs and provide solutions.
  • Drive innovation within the team to leverage new technologies and methodologies.
  • Plan and oversee the integration of AI solutions into the data ecosystem.
  • Collaborate with the AI Engineer to develop and deploy AI-driven applications.
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in computer science, Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field, or equivalent work experience.
  • At least 5 years of experience in data warehouse development and DevOps, using various tools and platforms.
  • 6+ years of experience working with Data Operations Engineers and Architects, including 4+ years working with Azure Data Operations Services.
  • 5+ years of experience managing or leading teams of Data Operations engineers.
  • Proven experience in managing data teams and projects.
  • Experience with data analysis, creating Power BI dashboards, and data visualization.
  • Microsoft Certified: Azure Data Fundamentals
  • Microsoft Certified Azure Data Engineer Associate
  • Microsoft Certified: Fabric Analytics Engineer Associate
  • Microsoft Certified: Fabric Data Engineer Associate
  • Certified Scrum Master is a plus.
  • Certified Data Management Professional (CDMP)
  • Familiarity with AI technologies and their application in data solutions.
  • Strong expertise in data architectures, ETL processes, Azure Data Lake, and Data Factory.
  • Strong knowledge of data warehouse concepts, architectures, and methodologies.
  • Strong knowledge of Data Operations principles, practices, and tools, such as automation, continuous integration, continuous delivery, and monitoring.
  • Strong project management skills, with the ability to plan, execute, and deliver projects on time and within budget.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to troubleshoot and resolve issues.
