Job DetailsJob Location MGMA Corporate Headquarters - Englewood, CO Position Type Full Time Salary Range $100,310.00 - $130,000.00 Salary DescriptionGeneral Purpose: The Manager, Information Technology (IT( Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) is responsible for managing IT enterprise resources and planning for the entire organization, including data collection and warehousing, customer relationship management (CRM) customization (Dynamics 365), reporting, backend integrations (including marketing automation), and overall back-end business support. Essential Functions:
- Plans, manages, and executes organization-wide IT enterprise and business support projects.
- Manages the development of procedures to ensure the integrity of enterprise technical resources, reporting, and databases.
- Ensures external/internal regulations and policies governing data management are met, including regulations concerning security, audit and privacy.
- Manages the troubleshooting of application software and database problems on a timely basis.
- Works with end-users to analyze, design, construct, and implement small applications in support of regular business operations, documents applications and provides cross-functional training as needed.
- Works with end users on all functional modules to translate business needs/requirements for upgrades and enhancements and assists in development of training materials.
- Acts as liaison between stakeholders and IT staff for resource allocation and completion of interdepartmental projects.
- Works with business stakeholders to define and create internal business intelligence reporting through SQL Server Reporting Services (SSRS) and PowerBI platforms and translates existing reports to new technologies to maintain consistency with historic reporting.
- Maintains timelines for project completion, including meeting intermediate timelines for multiple projects, and ensures all new projects are completed, tested, and deployed according to timelines.
- Works with project leads to perform testing, and complete testing to ensure minimal bugs in production releases.
- Manages comprehensive quality assurance (QA) across a variety of electronic platforms.
- Works with the IT Director to develop action plans for the coordination of available resources (MGMA staff, MGMA members, outside contractors, and temporary personnel).
- Responds to new and unplanned initiatives required to fulfill MGMA Strategic Plans.
- Fosters an environment where IT staff can work across teams to deliver analytics, tools, and resources for data access necessary to support business needs and decision-making processes.
- Other duties as required and necessary to ensure the success of the organization.
Supervisory duties:
- Directly manages IT staff in accordance with the organization's policies and applicable laws. Responsibilities include interviewing, hiring, and training employees, planning, assigning and directing work including goal and direction setting, appraising performance, rewarding and disciplining employees, addressing complaints and resolving problems.

- Strong experience with understanding business needs and documenting requirements to aid in the process of backend technical solution and feature development.
- Subject matter expert for entire suite of backend enterprise resources, software, and data reporting and collection.
- Strong experience with using standard and agile life-cycle methodologies.
- Project management experience relevant to implementing IT projects, leading project teams, and managing custom integration projects.
- Ability to manage a dynamic staff and work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
- Experience in data management and reporting, CRM (Dynamics 365), software implementation and integration, and a variety of business systems.
- Ability to think analytically and evaluate user needs to create the highest quality solutions and resources.
- Strong communication and problem-solving skills required for organization-wide project facilitation and management.
- Excellent analytical skills and strong quantitative skills.
Education:
- Bachelor's degree in Management Information Systems (MIS), Computer Science, Mathematics, Marketing, IT, or related field is required.
Experience:
- Five (5) of more years of experience developing enterprise-wide solutions and managing technical projects required.
- Four (4) or more years of experience developing and/or using business intelligence reports is required.
- Understanding of relational databases, strong excel skills, SQL experience is preferred.
- At least one (1) year as a supervisor or team lead is preferred.
An equivalent combination of education and experience may be substituted on a year for year basis. Additional Requirements/Licenses/Certifications:
- Must have reliable transportation.
