Job Description :
Summary: Maintain essential IT infrastructure, including operating systems, security tools, applications, servers, email systems, laptops, desktops, software, and hardware. Take responsibility for projects and solutions within the larger business initiative. Handle business-critical IT tasks and systems administration, Research and evaluate emerging technologies, hardware, and software. Track and maintain hardware and software inventory. Manage the IT Department's assets and personnel. Engagement Expectations: We believe that team member engagement is the basis for a great culture and superior guest service. Essential Job Functions:
  • Maintain the business relationship with significant vendors including manufacturers, suppliers and service providers.
  • Lead and facilitate the growth of the team environment including developing the necessary skills within the group, establishing processes that foster teamwork and consistently working to improve relationships with other areas.
  • Ensure security of data, network access and backup systems
  • Directly responsible for managing a staff of technical specialists who are responsible for the day-to-day operation, maintenance, and performance of all property-based technical systems.
  • Partners with corporate, managing all IT property support activities; including: the planning, procurement, installation, implementation, on-going support, and administration of all major technical systems located at the property.
  • Supervises and coordinates the activities of the Data Center, including additional “core” systems that are required to be housed on site due to regulatory requirements.
  • Develop and execute training plans for direct reports designed to increase their capabilities through career planning, technical training and increased responsibilities.
  • Evaluates new software and hardware to determine usefulness and compatibility with existing software and hardware.
  • Manage the monitoring and performance of all property-based Computer Systems, executing appropriate escalation and corrective actions for all hardware and software problems in accordance with predefined service agreements.
  • Knowledge of backup/storage technologies and disaster recovery.
  • Manage the workstation computer environment for their property including working with business departments for planning, providing leadership for the support team and work with other departments to ensure desktop standards are maintained.
  • Develop, document, and communicate property support metrics to identify improvement opportunities. Participate in the formulation of IT plans, technical strategies and budget plans as they relate to their property.
  • Participates in and provides leadership for IT initiatives, projects, rollouts, etc.
  • All other duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
  • Must be 18 years of age or older.
  • Maintain a high level of professional integrity and discretion.
  • Ability to obtain and maintain all necessary licensing
  • Strong creative and analytical thinking
  • Minimum of 5 years of progressive experience in IT with at least 3 years in a leadership role
  • Experience in Developing and implementing IT policies and procedures.
  • Bachelor's degree (B.S.) or equivalent experience is preferred.
  • Ability to work flexible shifts and days of the week including holidays.
Physical and Mental Demands:
  • Must be able to move through all areas of the casino as well as lift up to (30) pounds.
  • Must be able to maintain physical stamina and proper mental attitude to work under pressure in a fast-paced, casino environment and effectively deal with customers, management, employees, and members of the business community in all situations.
  • Must be able to be approved for and maintain a valid Gaming license.
  • Must be willing to work nights, weekends and holidays as required.
  • Meet the attendance guidelines of the job and adhere to regulatory, departmental and company policies.
