Manager, Marketing Development & Operations

Tarte Cosmetics is seeking a Manager for the Marketing Development & Operations team who possesses a combination of creative & strategic thinking. This is a multifaceted role responsible for working closely with the overall tarte assortment, as well as, all non-salable programs.

Overview:

This individual should have a proven track record of success working cross-functionally handling multiple projects simultaneously with an eye for details. This is an exciting opportunity to have insight into the full tarte collection & in-depth knowledge into retailer assortments, product evolution including formula/packaging changes, the global pricing strategy & prelaunch management. In addition, this role will look strategically at our global sampling initiatives & drive 3rd party outreach, driving back to core pillar skus driving incremental sales.

Responsibilities:

  • Support Marketing Development & Operations team for all things related to product assortments & launches
  • Work alongside key accounts team on assortments domestically & internationally, managing company-wide launch alignment plans, as well as global pricing strategies & competitive review for all launches
  • Manage tracker & internal communication needs for product changes including formula updates, packaging changes & more
  • Work cross-functionally with production planning team on buying processes from a marketing lens
  • Manage internal press & prelaunch process including review for production, content, PR needs and more
  • Manage internal sampling calendars & planning documents across all retailers, with a strategic tie back to new launches & pulsing core best-sellers
  • Drive end to end programs for specialty retail opportunities like flash sale sites & 3rd party box & sampling partners, evaluating and working through excess or discontinuing skus.

Skill Experience:

  • Bachelor's Degree required; Concentration in marketing or business preferred
  • 4-6 years of marketing/promotional experience
  • Must be able to work both independently as well as cross-functionally with excellent written & oral communication skills
  • Must demonstrate the ability to multi-task with a high attention to detail
  • Advanced proficiency in Excel
  • Has a positive attitude & works well in a fast paced environment
