About the team:
Plans, organizes, and implements a comprehensive marketing and communications strategy that enhances the Summit Pacific brand and supports the district's mission, vision, and objectives. Manages and leads team members to effectively execute marketing, communications, community education and outreach, and patient experience functions. Facilitates positive patient, employee, and provider experiences; assists community members and staff in understanding and supporting Summit Pacific's mission and vision. Leads marketing, community education and patient experience programs, providing leadership and development to team members. Facilitates performance improvement in patient experience initiatives and best practice development. Coordinates organization-wide programs, and assembles data required by Summit Pacific and regulatory and compliance agencies.
Required Education and Experience:
* Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university with major course work in marketing, communications, business administration, or a related field. Master's degree preferred.
* Five years of related professional-level experience which includes development of patient experience, marketing programs and/or community education and outreach campaigns, professional writing, and management of current media/social media programs. Healthcare experience preferred.
* Two years of supervisory experience.
Required Licenses, Certifications and/or Registration:
American Marketing Association (AMA) Professional Certified Marketer (PCM) and/or Patient Experience certification preferred.
Job Specific Duties:
* Manages the development and implementation of a comprehensive marketing and communications strategy for the district. Designs and coordinates programs and activities with a focus on attracting and retaining patients, customers, and staff members and enhancing the overall position of Summit Pacific. Performs market research, plans, manages, and monitors activities and budgets, measures outcomes, and reports results. *Oversees the development and implementation of patient experience and related programs that enhance the overall Summit Experience. Develops and maintains programs to manage Summit Pacific's social media presence and reputation management platforms. *Leads the development of department/program-specific marketing and advertising plans and materials to attract and grow the district's patient base and to attract and recruit prospective new employees and/or donors. Ensures marketing/advertising materials meet internal customer needs and support overall brand strategy with respect to quality, consistency, cost effectiveness, and timing. *Develops, writes, maintains, and edits appropriate, professional-level communications, marketing/advertising copy and related collateral materials such as press releases, newsletters, brochures, presentations, video scripts, web pages, advertisements and social media posts. *Develops and implements strategic social media campaigns that both educates viewers, highlights the district's accomplishments and employees, and helps recruit potential new employees. Oversees website development, search engine optimization, reputation management and online reviews. *Coordinates and builds collaborative relationships with vendors and community partners to enhance SP/SPMF and community marketing and development. *Professionally represents the District at community events. May participate in community groups and/or events, on behalf of the district. *Provides ongoing project leadership to ensure that a desired patient experience program is successfully established, implemented and maintained at Summit Pacific. Oversees and leads service excellence program. *Coordinates and supports language assistance programs, equipment and educational activities to ensure organization-wide compliance with non-discrimination laws and requirements. *Coordinates and presents quality management system inputs in committees and reports to management, including audit results, customer feedback, process performance, outcomes consistency, status of preventative actions, and follow-up affecting the quality management system. *Leads efforts to use the voice of the patient to impact operational improvements and facilitates development of the Patient Family Advisory Council, acting as a liaison between council and leadership. *Works with clinical and non-clinical groups to strengthen service orientation, identifying communication skills needed for effective, culturally appropriate and empathetic communication with patients and families. Coordinates training and resources for this purpose. *Partners with Human Resources in instilling efforts of employee commitment and engagement supporting patient experience expectations such as behavior standards, training, evaluating and coaching for best practices regarding excellent service. *Stays abreast of Federal and State regulations and DNV-ISO standards in areas of patient experience and patient rights; coordinates implementation and training needs for grievance process, limited English proficiency, and language access services, service animals utilized by patients, etc. *Responsible for overall patient complaint and grievance processes to include compliance with standards, investigations, committee input, timely responses, tracking and reporting. *Provides supervision and guidance for community education and outreach related to enhancement of use of Summit Pacific by the community and reputation management. *Engages with both internal and external partners to advance the Summit Pacific mission and vision. Participates in professional groups/associations. Participates in or leads work groups, projects and committees as assigned. Performs special projects and other related duties as assigned.
Compensation for this position is 84,261.09 to 140,435.15 depending on experience.
