What you'll do as a Manager Operations Management You will develop, maintain and update project documentation You will program task management (as assigned by Director You will develop and maintain program file system (physical and electronic) You will contact customer to obtain project specific information You will estimate revenue and customer costs based on provided estimating tools and works with others to develop estimates You will ensure stakeholder notification and buy-in You will complete project close-out per company standards You will track accruals weekly and turn in at the end of every week You will schedule work and crew make ups with scheduler for internal and external use You will review invoices from subcontractors to confirm production and accurate accounting You will work with Accounts Receivable and Billing Department to make sure all revenue is accounted for and accurate You will forecast month and year for each project and program You will create purchase orders You will design review and estimate take offs You will work with internal support groups (Finance & Accounting, Billing, etc.) to set up projects in accounting system You will remove obstacles and empower Operations to be successful You will constantly managing and monitoring project progress, risk and the quality of the customer experience You will manage project level activities which include but is not limited to critical path monitoring/alignment, procurement, resource loading/forecasting/conflict resolution and critical path risk identification/mitigation You will proactively identify and resolve potential issues before they become problems You will lead efforts to gather all project level status to report on project status to all stakeholders You will be responsible for tracking change impact and delay impact You will forecast and manage materials to facilitate the scheduled work on time and under budget You will complete all other duties as assigned What you'll need You are 18 years of age or older You are authorize to work in the United States for this company You have previous work in telecommunications construction in outside plant facilities You have 3-5 years of experience as a Manager of construction crews You have extensive knowledge of telecommunications construction requirements You have 5+ years of experience in delivering Construction Telecommunications services or utility related industry You have experience managing contractors and coordinating multi-site construction projects You have strong written and verbal communications skills You are a problem solver and critical thinker You are driven and self-motivated You are proficient in MS Office Applications: MS Word, MS Excel, MS Access, MS Project You have the ability to work independently on assigned tasks with minimum guidance IND1 Why work with us Your career here is more than just a job - it's your pathway to opportunity.
