Your RoleThe Paid Search Manager will create and manage the implementation of an innovative paid search strategy, in partnership with internal stakeholders and an external agency, for North America and EMEA. The Paid Search Manager will ensure our search channel activities complement our marketing funnel approach, build on best practices, aim to automate and drive efficiencies, and grow our share of voice while closing the gap with competitors.
You Will Be Responsible For:- Owning, developing and managing our paid search strategies alongside our external media agency and internal marketing teams to ensure the search channel supports our broader marketing objectives.
- Working closely with content, web, email marketing, other media channels to implement, monitor and optimize lead generation and conversion activities through paid search activities.
- Partnering with the agency and internal marketing analytics team to deliver in-depth reporting, analysis and insight to relevant stakeholders, giving them an understanding of what is happening within the paid search space.
- Driving evolution of the paid search channel through audience insights, segmentation strategies, campaign and always on objectives, and regular testing and optimization.
- Managing forecasting and budgeting for all activities ensuring budgets are spent correctly in line with agreed amount and we're maximizing budget, in alignment with agency recommendations and plans, and our internal media planning team.
The Experience You Bring:- You will have paid search management experience, and advanced knowledge of the search marketing landscape and latest trends, technologies, and requirements, gained from a B2B or similar business either in-house or at an agency, and have developed strategies across diverse regions and audiences, while partnering with multiple stakeholders to bring the search marketing channel to life.
- You understand the role of search marketing in a multi-channel context and can demonstrate leveraging strategies and tactics which complement the full range of channel activations across the funnel.
- You have experience partnering with external agencies to shape the best search strategies, tactics, audience insights, and build a strategic roadmap promoting search marketing capabilities as part of the marketing channel mix.
- You will have strong knowledge of reporting, targeting and tracking capabilities across paid social in an aim to reach the right audience, at the right time, with the right message and an analytical mind-set to understand, deliver and analyse those metrics that link marketing to commercial results
- You're skilled in analyzing performance metrics against campaign objectives that link marketing activities to commercial results, and then apply those learnings to improve future marketing campaigns
- You have strong management and people skills, able to deal with multiple deadlines and projects with various stakeholders across the business
- Have a customer-first mentality and view paid social activities through the eyes and experiences of our clients to deliver the best social media marketing can offer in meeting their needs
- You're a self-starter with excellent collaborative, consultative and change management skills to bring people along on the journey
- Excellent presentation, written and oral communication skills in English (additional European languages a plus)
The total compensation offered for this position, which includes salary and incentive pay, will vary based on skills, experience and location. The salary range for this position in New York City is $100,000 to $110,000 annually.
