Job Description :

We are seeking an experienced Payroll Manager to oversee all aspects of payroll processing, ensuring timely and accurate payroll administration. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of payroll systems, tax regulations, and compliance requirements.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage the end-to-end payroll process, including payroll calculations, deductions, and disbursements.
  • Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local payroll laws and regulations.
  • Supervise and train payroll staff, fostering a collaborative and efficient team environment.
  • Review payroll reports and processes for accuracy, addressing discrepancies as necessary.
  • Coordinate with HR for employee onboarding, terminations, and changes in employment status.
  • Prepare and submit payroll-related tax filings and reports.
  • Develop and implement payroll policies and procedures to enhance efficiency.
  • Respond to employee inquiries regarding payroll, benefits, and deductions.
  • Maintain payroll records and ensure data integrity and confidentiality.
  • Stay updated on payroll legislation and best practices to ensure compliance.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelors degree in Accounting, Finance, Human Resources, or a related field.
  • Proven experience (typically 5+ years) in payroll management or a similar role.
  • Strong knowledge of payroll software (e.g., ADP, Paychex) and MS Excel.
  • Familiarity with federal and state payroll tax regulations.
  • Excellent attention to detail and analytical skills.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Certified Payroll Professional (CPP) designation.
  • Experience with HRIS systems and integration with payroll.
