Headquartered in Atlanta, Georgia, Novelis has approximately 13,000 employees in 32 operating facilities on 4 continents.Responsibilities & QualificationsThe Global Human Resources team is looking for a Manager People Analytics, reporting to the Director Global HR Excellence. The Manager People Analytics will work closely with HR resources and cross-functional partners on global and regional HR projects aimed to achieve strategic HR goals regarding HR operating model and HR process excellence.Responsibilities
  • Collect and compile HR metrics and data from various sources.
  • Utilize data to deliver strategic insights on human capital aspects like engagement, retention, and talent.
  • Summarize workforce data to understand engagement, turnover, retention drivers, workforce diversity, job evolution, future workforce readiness, future leader readiness, internal talent market health, and skills gaps.
  • Analyze workforce data to provide actionable insights and recommendations to HR and leadership teams.
  • Design, build, enhance, and maintain dashboards and reports.
  • Enable HR and business users to monitor and analyze trends in people data.
  • Educate users and maintain the user community through these tools.
  • Work closely with HR Business Partners and HR Centers of Excellence (COEs) to support data-driven decision-making.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align analytics with business goals.
  • Collaborate with technical teams and Subject Matter Experts to define and develop analytical solutions.
  • Build and execute a People Analytics roadmap to evolve from descriptive to predictive analysis.
  • Drive the future of the HR Analytics team by building a vision and path for various quantitative and qualitative techniques on HR data.
  • Develop and implement a comprehensive people analytics strategy.
  • Develop and deliver data literacy training programs for the HR community to support fact-based decision-making.
  • Ensure adequate data hosting and management.
  • Support data governance and ensure data privacy and compliance with relevant regulations.Minimum Qualifications
    • Masters degree in Information Systems, Statistics, Economics, Organizational Behavior, Industrial and Organizational Psychology, Human Resources, Data Science, Business Analytics, or a related field.
    • At least 7 years of experience in HR analytics in a global organization.
    • Proven ability to lead a small team of analysts.
    • Experience in conducting complex analyses and incorporating data from multiple sources to identify insights and trends.
    • Experience with machine learning and predictive analytics.
    • Strong knowledge of HR metrics, data visualization tools, and statistical analysis.
    • Proficiency in data analysis software (e.g., SQL, Python, R) and HRIS systems.
    • Very good knowledge in creating and maintaining Power BI reports, models, datasets, and dataflows.
    • Excellent communication and presentation skills with the ability to effectively communicate complex findings to relevant stakeholders.
    • Ability to meet tight deadlines with emphasis on sustained accuracy and attention to detail.
    • Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
    • Business acumen, with the ability to decipher business needs and ask questions to uncover core issues.
