This individual will be required to develop policies, procedures and methods to evaluate and improve the quality of products, materials, components and/or operations. Develop, assures and maintains the quality of products and processes, including standard procedures (e.g., ISO 9001:2000, ISO 14000 family of standards), quality audits/review, Taguchi methods, process reengineering, etc. Responsibilities are within the Quality Assurance Methods Function as a generalist or in a combination of Disciplines.
Preferred:Supervisory Responsibility: Manages a group of Inspection Technicians at the San Diego site.
Must possess the demonstrated ability to work with and understand the synergies of working directly with managers, technical engineering and production personnel in an efficient and accurate manner.
Language Skills - Ability to read, analyze and interpret common engineering information such as engineering drawings and product specifications and legal/contractual documents including statements of work, requests for proposal and contract terms and conditions. Ability to respond to common inquiries or complaints from customers, suppliers or auditing agencies. Ability to write presentations, reports, business correspondence and procedures that conform to prescribed style and format. Ability to effectively present information inside and outside the company as required. Bilingual in Spanish is also preferred.

Pay Range (USD):$72,800 - $135,200 Additional Compensation:Hired applicant may be eligible to participate in the Companys Gain Sharing Program.Benefits:Employees are eligible for medical, dental, vision, short and long-term disability, and basic life insurance as well as pre-tax spending accounts.
