Title: Manager, Risk Control

Location: Hybrid - Atlanta, Georgia

Position Overview:

My client is seeking a skilled risk control professional to join their team and leverage their expertise in public entities & risk control. The role will allow you to utilize your skills to handle complex tasks effectively for a high performing insurance provider. The ideal candidate will be able to use their deep understanding of risk control to successfully perform duties under minimal supervision.

Key Responsibilities:

• Handle assignments across various business areas, ensuring comprehensive risk control services and client education, with occasional self-directed travel.
• Create and present management materials to both internal and external stakeholders, maximizing the use of loss data and analytic tools.
• Oversee Risk Control engagement, enhancing the client experience, and developing strategies to optimize existing risk management resources.
• Provide thought leadership through public speaking and article contributions, collaborating closely with multiple departments to maintain a cohesive marketplace presence.
• Consistently gather and share relevant data, maintain regular communication with the Supervisor, and undertake special projects as directed.

Qualifications:

• A Bachelor's degree is required, preferably in safety management or a related field.
• 4+ years of experience in risk control or safety management.
• Industry certifications preferred.
• Background working with first responders and public entity safety professionals.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Applications and strong communication skills, including public speaking and presenting.
