Our innovative portfolio includes fiber Internet access, Ethernet, managed network,managed security, managed Wi-Fi services, and Enterprise Voice and TV solutions.

Responsible for staffing, oversight, management, coaching and development of geographically dispersed teams of Carrier Access and Cell Tower Backhaul Senior Sales Support Specialists. This team is responsible for supporting both the Carrier Access&CTBH sales channels with a primary focus on pre sales functions, specifically, quoting and quality control of carrier orders resulting in secured sales revenue The Manager, Sales Support Carrier has responsibility for the growth and development of this team to adapt and swivel to the constant changing needs and strategies of the business, as well as continuously pursuing efficiencies and process evolution towards automation. Sets support strategy and proactively coordinates with boundary partners to establish and implement product and pricing strategies. Responsible for communication and positioning of Charter with internal teams and external Carrier customers.

Actively and consistently supports all efforts to simplify and enhance the customer experience. Consistently strives to improve upon existing support strategy in an effort to streamline and enhance the overall sales and carrier client experience as well as providing continual coaching and professional development of the staff. Source, interview, train, and coach team members, managing productivity reports, individual performance reviews, conducting regular 1:1 and team meetings for feedback and planning. Develop, coach and mentor direct reports in the pre-sale environment to proactively support customers, both internal and external. Manage a large and diverse team composed of two team leads and several pods responsible for multiple areas of focus concerning Carrier Access and Carrier Cell Tower Back Haul quoting and ordering. Responsible for regular review of POD and performance within the PODS and works to pivot/change when necessary for maximum output of quotes resulting in revenue. Sets expectations on support strategy, creates/assigns pods to align with overall sales strategy.

Manage daily, weekly, and monthly deliverable SLAs in both quote and order activities. Conducts regular review of processes and is an integral part of process and strategy planning both internally and externally to support sales activities. Actively participates in planning and process logistics and coordinates with boundary partners such as Business Development, Business Intelligence, Construction, Design, Service Delivery, Product, Special Pricing, and Finance. Actively engages with sales directors and account managers to understand customer needs and targeted sales strategies. Responsible for the management of a diverse library of customer specific requirements including quoting specifications and order parameters. Responsible for data integrity, historical tracking, and management of quoting database, NNI lists, building lists, business rules, and rate cards. Conducts weekly team meetings to understand activity levels and challenges within support arena. Works with boundary partners to refine support process. Serves as escalation point for internal team members and external customers as well as cross functional team members. Supports the sales team by contributing in face to face meetings with Carrier clients to review current status and strategize for improvement and growth as well as identify opportunities for alignment between Charter's process and our client's internal goals. Assists teamin coordinating overall support efforts with marketing, order management, finance, deal support, technical support and other support teams. Oversees and provides management support for team that works in conjunction with cross functional teams on pre-sale and inflight sales activities in an effort to maximize revenue and growth. This includes special pricing requests, following up on quotes, managing IRR financial models, ASR and order submissions, tracking of special pricing requests (SPARCs), and overall management of bulk deals nationwide. Clearly understand and articulates Charter's value proposition.

WHAT YOU'LL BRING TO SPECTRUM

Required Qualifications

  • Experience: Sales support or management experience (2+years), B2B, sales, or client experience (5+ years)
  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Business, Communications or similar field
  • Technical Skills: Proficient in MS Office, CRM tools
  • Skills: Communication, management, collaboration, technical skills, leadership
