The Manager of Security Operations is responsible for overseeing the effective and efficient operation of their assigned property, venue, and/or shift security team to maximize the safety of employees and guests. They will oversee security direction for all special events or critical incidents for their assigned property or venue.

PRINCIPAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
* Manage security and support staff team members during day-to-day operations and activations including creating schedules, work assignments, station coverage, payroll, PTO, training and evaluating officers, and administering progressive discipline.
* Build and develop highly effective teams through interviewing and hiring training, mentoring, coaching, performance reviews, and professional development.
* Create a work environment that uses recognition and performance feedback to promote teamwork and mutual respect.
* Understand and promote compliance with company policies, and federal, state, and local laws and effectively communicate policy and procedure changes to security operation teams to maintain compliance.
* Give suggestions and recommendations, as appropriate, for improvements to policies and procedures.
* Execute department strategic goals and operational tactics to deliver excellent safety service using feedback and data with a proactive approach to ensure a maximum level of guest service and satisfaction throughout the property or venue is achieved and maintained.
* Execute Guest Service standard policies and procedures to address guest questions and concerns either personally or by contacting the appropriate team member or department.
* Acts as the Incident Commander during critical incidents and is responsible for establishing emergency response objectives and strategies and implementing tactics until Senior Leadership or Law Enforcement arrives.
* Perform other job-related duties as requested.
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS
* Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
* Two (2) years of security operations, government, or private industry experience in the security field, including previous experience preparing risk assessments and operational security plans, and conducting safety reviews and after-action reports.
CERTIFICATIONS, LICENSES, AND REGISTRATIONS
* Proof of eligibility to work in the United States.
* Valid Driver's License.
* Gaming Registration (as required by local jurisdiction).
* Ability to obtain and maintain CPR/AED Certification.
