Job Summary: Reporting directly to our dynamic VP of Human Resources, the Manager, Total Rewards will be a pivotal force in shaping and driving DFJ's Total Rewards programs. This includes everything from benefits and compensation to incentive plans. You'll collaborate with key stakeholders and senior leaders to boost employee satisfaction and retention with top-notch compensation and benefits strategies.
Minimum Required Qualifications
- ๐ Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field.
- ๐ 8 years of progressive experience in Total Rewards (Compensation & Benefits).
- ๐ป Strong analytical and PC skills (Advanced Excel skills, HRIS systems/reporting).
- ๐ฃ๏ธ Excellent oral and written communication skills.
- ๐ค Ability to interface effectively with all levels of employees within the organization.
- ๐ต๏ธ Able to exercise sound judgment in handling confidential material and information.

Compensation
Principal Duties/Responsibilities (Essential Functions):
- ๐ Ensure current compensation models are internally equitable, externally competitive, and aligned with DFJ's business objectives.
- ๐ Conduct market research and surveys to benchmark positions and make merit & compensation budget recommendations.
- ๐ข Analyze job descriptions, FLSA classifications, and organization structure to maintain internal equity.
- ๐ Manage the annual performance and compensation review processes.
- ๐๏ธ Develop education and communication materials regarding the Total Rewards program for managers and employees.
- ๐ Generate reports and metrics to evaluate the effectiveness of compensation programs.
- ๐ฅ๏ธ Assist in implementing the compensation and performance modules within HRIS (UKG/UltiPro). Become a subject matter expert for these modules ongoing.
Benefits
- ๐ฅ Oversee the administration and implementation of the company's health and retirement benefit plans (medical, prescription, dental, vision, life insurance, disability, pension, and 401(k) plans) in accordance with company policy and procedures while ensuring legal compliance.
- ๐ Point of contact for annual plan audits (401k & pension).
- ๐ Handle annual 5500 filings.
- ๐ผ Manage and collaborate with benefit vendors.
- ๐ Maintain plan documentation (SPDs, SBCs, Plan Highlights, Benefits Guide, etc.).
- ๐ Plan and project manage the annual enrollment process.
- ๐ Oversee COBRA administration, ACA (1095s) production, and HIPAA compliance.
- ๐ Manage additional benefits programs including Tuition Reimbursement, Relocation, and employee discount programs.
- ๐ Subject matter expert for the benefits module within HRIS (UKG/UltiPro).
- ๐ Ensure compliance with applicable local, state, and federal laws.
- ๐ Generate reports and metrics to evaluate the effectiveness of benefits programs.
Non-Principal Duties/Responsibilities (Non-Essential Functions): As part of the Corporate HR team, you will support other HR programs and initiatives. These project-based initiatives will vary, but may include:
- ๐ Occasional evaluation and administration of the Company's Service Award program.

- ๐ Leave Policies and Leave Management outsourcing.
- โ๏ธ Employee Relocation Program.
