We are exclusively partnered with a leading Financial Technology and Services business that is rapidly scaling globally following a significant cash raise ($40m+).
This firm is a leading provider of Valuation and Monitoring solutions for asset classes that are long dated, alternative, and illiquid in nature. They are already in with many of the top PE and Credit houses in the world and are just getting started.
The Role:
You will play a critical role in providing expert analysis and valuation services for a wide range of clients and prospects globally as well as focusing on new product development.
Your extensive knowledge and expertise in Structured Credit Valuation, gathered in a large Structured Credit trading desk or fund, as well as considerable exposure to the emerging technologies used in the field (perhaps because of your direct involvement in one of the new products) will be instrumental in developing our solution further.
Location: NYC Ideally but Flexible
Role & Responsibilities:
- Work closely with the Product and Technology teams to drive innovation within the Structured Credit capabilities of the platform.
- Collaborate with other departments, such as marketing, product, and functional, to develop and expand the product depending on the needs of the market.
- Identify and cultivate new business opportunities, partnerships, and strategic alliances to expand our presence in the US market.
- Manage Proof of Concept (POC), pilots, implementation, and customer success relations with our clients.
- Collaborate with clients to understand their specific needs and objectives, tailoring valuation approaches accordingly.
- Maintain US client relationships and deliver exceptional customer service throughout the valuation process.
- Analyze market trends, competition, and customer feedback to continuously refine sales strategies and offerings.
- Mentor and provide guidance to junior valuation professionals as needed.
- Travel as needed to meet with clients, attend industry events, and support the sales team.
Qualifications & Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in business, Finance, Economics, or similar.
- A minimum of 15 years of experience in valuation, with a proven track record of new product development (technology), handling complex valuation projects as well as the use and leveraging of technological solutions in Structured Credit Valuation.
- Previous experience in a large Structured Credit trading desk or fund environment is a must (i.e. Apollo, Blackstone, PIMCO).
- Previous experience of building a product in technology a must.
- Experience in a FinTech environment highly desirable.
- Strong client relationship management and business development skills.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to effectively communicate complex ideas and influence decision-makers.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a keen attention to detail.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team and independently when necessary.
