To continue our rapid growth and success in providing compliance, planning, and consulting services to our clients, we're currently seeking a practice builder with strong operations/P&L experience to lead our Advisory practice.

In this highly visible national role, reporting to the COO, you'll be responsible for positioning the firm as a leader in advisory services for small to mid-size businesses. The Advisory service line comprises a portfolio with varying business models and metrics in the Digital, Transactions, and ORS (Outsourcing & Resource) space. You'll be responsible for the growth and operations of the Advisory service line, which is committed to delivering exceptional advisory services tailored to the specific needs of our clients in the middle market. You'll work in close collaboration with internal and external stakeholders, such as clients, partners, vendors, and corporate functions (Finance, People & Culture, and Growth team) to achieve the vision, strategy, and goals for the $280m+ Advisory practice.

Your key responsibilities will include:

• Execute the Firm's vision, strategy, and goals for the Advisory practice to position Cherry Bekaert as a leader in advisory services for small to mid-size businesses.
• Ensure that Advisory services to clients are exceptional and tailored to the specific needs of our middle-market clients.
• Consistently grow the practice through expansion of services to existing clients and obtaining new clients.
• Drive consistency, collaboration and communication among Service Line, Market, Shared Services, Growth, and Industry leaders as well as with other stakeholders.
• Develop professionals within the practice and build a talent pipeline with the requisite technical expertise.
• Drive use of technology, automation, offshoring, and artificial intelligence to improve service offerings, execution, and profitability.
• Develop the Advisory annual budget and drive results, through practice Partners, against budget and key performance indicators throughout the year for the practice.

• Bachelor's degree. Master's degree or MBA preferred.
• Minimum 15 years of experience in consulting or advisory services including at least 5 years' experience in a leadership or management role required.
• Demonstrated operations/P&L experience and ability to manage complex projects in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
• Proven experience in managing at least 250-person business.
• Demonstrated experience in driving growth and building an office, practice, market, industry group, service line, or similar.
• Ability to drive success through the influencing of Partners and staff.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, decision-making, and critical thinking skills.
• Strong communication skills (verbal/written/presentation), with the ability to communicate effectively with various audiences at different levels.
• High emotional intelligence (EQ), with the ability to build trustful relationships with diverse stakeholders.
