Advantage Resourcing is seeking new talent in Dothan, AL, and hiring an experienced Manual Lathe Machinist for an outstanding company specializing in the installation and maintenance of heavy industrial power systems. Pay: $17-$24 per hour (Based on experience)

1st Shift Hours: 7 am - 4 pm, Monday - Friday

While working as a Manual Lathe Machinist, you will be responsible for setting up and operating manual lathes to produce precision parts according to engineering drawings and specifications. This role requires a high level of expertise in machining processes, attention to detail, and a commitment to quality craftsmanship. The ideal candidate will possess strong mechanical aptitude, problem-solving skills, and the ability to work in a dynamic manufacturing environment.

Qualifications:

* High school diploma or equivalent

* 2+ years of experience as a Manual Lathe Machinist in a manufacturing environment

* Strong knowledge of machining principles, tool selection, and setup procedures

* Familiarity with various materials, including metals and alloys

* Proficiency in reading and interpreting engineering drawings and blueprints

* Quality mindset with strong communication, teamwork, problem-solving, and troubleshooting skills

* Ability to stand for extended periods and lift 50 pounds
