Job Description Job Title: Manual Machinist Sign-on Bonus: $2,500 (Payable after 90 days of employment) Shift: 2nd Shift (Monday-Thursday 3:30pm-2:00am) Shift Differential: 15% Job Overview We are looking for a skilled Manual Machinist to join our world-class job shop, equipped with advanced heavy machining capabilities. This role involves producing precision-machined parts by programming, setting up, and operating a CNC Mill (HNK Mill). The ideal candidate will focus on maintaining high standards for quality and safety, keeping accurate records, and ensuring proper maintenance of equipment and supplies. This role offers the chance to work on challenging projects across various industries, including Formula 1 racing, defense, amusement parks, and more. • Program, set up, and operate milling machines/horizontal boring mills
• Ensure adherence to safety and quality standards
• Create and set up fixtures, troubleshoot, and run machines independently
• Understand machining techniques and apply knowledge of metals, alloys, and materials
• Review and prioritize work efficiently
• Safely operate equipment and tools, including hoists and overhead cranes
• Interpret blueprints, drawings, and work orders accurately
• Maintain accurate records of production and machine maintenance
• Work independently and manage multiple priorities
• Overtime work may be required based on project demands

Skills and Experience

• 5+ years of experience with milling machines or horizontal boring mills (job shop environment preferred)
• Experience with MasterCam is a plus
• Proficient in machine setup, fixture creation, and operating large machinery
• Strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical documents
• Knowledge of metals and materials used in machining
• Strong attention to detail and ability to work without supervision
• Experience with crane rigging and hoist operation is beneficial
