Description: TITLE: Manual Machinist DEPARTMENT: Engineering REPORTS TO: General Manager ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES: Design and fabrication of tools/test equipment. Maintain workspace, facility, and equipment as delegated by GM. Other responsibilities as delegated by the GM. ESSENTIAL TASKS/DUTIES: Design non-complex tooling using paper drawings if and when needed. Fabricate tooling/test equipment. Work with R&D personnel in complex tooling design when assistance is needed. Other task/duties as delegated by the GM. Requirements: SKILLS REQUIRED: Read, Write, and speak English Basic Mathematics Basic mechanical and electrical aptitude Ability to read measuring tool such as, Calipers, Micrometers, Dial Indicators Ability to read and interpret technical data/drawings Ability to Engineer tools and test equipment using a sample part Tig Welding SolidWorks CAD software EXPERIENCE REQUIRED: 5 years manual machining experience required 1 year tig welding experience required EDUCATION REQUIRED: High School Diploma or equivalent.
