Description:

As a Manual Tester, you will play a crucial role in the development and modernization of enterprise systems for one of our public sector clients. This role focuses on leveraging manual testing techniques to ensure the quality and performance of modernized legacy systems. Responsibilities:

  • Develop and maintain manual test cases for complex software solutions in a public sector project.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to gather and analyze requirements for the modernization of a legacy application.
  • Execute manual test cases to ensure the quality and performance of the application.
  • Ensure solutions are aligned with business goals, technical requirements, and compliance standards.
  • Integrate various systems and technologies, ensuring seamless data exchange and interoperability.
  • Participate in test reviews and ensure adherence to best practices and testing standards.
  • Stay updated with emerging technologies and industry trends, particularly those relevant to the public sector.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve manual testing-related issues as they arise, ensuring minimal disruption to public services.
  • Ensure the security, performance, and scalability of manual testing solutions, with a focus on protecting sensitive public sector data.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Proven experience as a Manual Tester or similar role, preferably in the public sector.
  • Extensive experience with manual testing methodologies and best practices.
  • Experience with the Microsoft technology stack, including: C#, Microsoft .NET Core 3.1 or later
  • Experience with cloud technologies, particularly Microsoft Azure, including: Azure DevOps
  • Strong understanding of software testing methodologies and best practices.
  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience with other manual testing tools and technologies.
  • Knowledge of additional programming languages and frameworks.
  • Certifications in relevant technologies (e.g., ISTQB Certified Tester).
  • Previous experience with legacy application modernization projects in the public sector.
