Job Description:

General Summary Statement

  • Position is responsible for filling and packaging solution products and accessories using Engineering Documentation and bills of materials.
  • Position reports to the supervisor of Chemical Production.

Principle Duties/Responsibilities

  • Assembling and packaging solution products according to drawing specification, obtaining release from Chemical Quality Control to fill or pack according GP40-203.
  • Print bill of materials (BOM).
  • Quarantine assemblies and work in progress until final release.
  • Ordering material from the stock room according to BOM.
  • Maintain a clean/organized work area
  • Follow safety regulations as outlined in procedures
  • Wear appropriate PPE.
  • Follow Departmental Procedures (DP) and General Procedures (GP) that are related to the department.
  • Fill solution manually while maintaining proper fill levels during the entire operation
  • Assist in operation of the automatic filling line.
  • Compliance with Good Manufacturing Practices and all appropriate regulations (ISO)
  • Other related duties as assigned.

  • None

Environmental/Work Conditions

  • Chemical laboratory area with exposure to chemical, mechanical and electrical hazards.

Skill/Ability Required

  • Read and understand Engineering Documentation.
  • Ability to lift 50 pounds

Qualifications for Position

Education:

  • High School Diploma or GED required

Experience:

  • One (1) year of experience in manufacturing environment

Supervision Required:

  • Heavy to Moderate.
