FoodScience in Williston, VT is looking to hire full-time Manufacturing Associates-no prior experience is needed, as we provide on-the-job training for this position. You might be the perfect fit.The Manufacturing Associate position starts at $19/hour with opportunities to grow. Hours are 7:00 AM - 3:30 PM, Monday - Friday. We're excited to talk with you.WHAT YOU'LL DO HEREAs a Manufacturing Associate, you will help produce high-quality nutritional supplements and treats for dogs and cats. You'll work on one of our production lines with an amazing team, and be trained to run all aspects of the line. You'll also be trained on our Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), Current Good Manufacturing Practices (cGMP), and Safe Quality Foods (SQF) Guidelines associated with your duties. QUALIFICATIONS FOR A MANUFACTURING ASSOCIATENo special skills are required to be a Manufacturing Associate as you will be trained on the job. That being said, there are some requirements that make a good Manufacturing Associate a great Manufacturing Associate:
  • You must be able to lift up to 50 lbs. while bending, twisting, and/or squatting.
  • You must be hard-working and dependable.
  • You must be able to learn how to operate equipment including carton erecters, tape machines, box printers, conveyors, etc.
  • You must be able to understand and properly complete necessary paperwork associated with the operation of the line.
