Job Title:Manufacturing Engineer (CNC) (Off Shift)Type of Position:12-month contract position to start. Possible to be renewed, likely long term for direct hire.Job Location:Flint, MI (on site role)Compensation:$42.00/hr to $48.00/hr (depending on experience). Overtime is paid at 1.5x over 40 hours. Doubletime is paid at 2.0x if working on Sunday (and already over 40 hours). Significant overtime is expected, generally averaging 16 hours per week. We expect the candidate in this role to make $150K/yr to $200K/yr depending on their pay rate / overtime worked.Benefits:

Job Description:HRU Technical Resources has partnered with a major automotive manufacturer to hire a Manufacturing Engineer (CNC) (Off Shift). This role will be a part of a major manufacturing plant that performs assembly and machining operations to produce high-quality engines for multiple vehicles.Typical Day In The Role:

• Supporting production floor
• Keeping equipment running with maintenance team
• Gaging reports
• Making off sets
• Checking equipment
• Quality decision
• Keep equipment running
• Communicate shift issues to next shift
• Technical communication & knowledge
• Be a subject matter expert on equipment, parts and quality
• This role will involve collaborating with various teams including: Maintenance, Production, Electrical Engineering, and the Quality Team.

Education / Experience Required:

• Bachelor's Degree in a relevant engineering field is preferred. Candidates with relevant experience will be considered without a degree (high school diploma or GED is required at a minimum).
• 5 to 7+ years of experience is desired. Seeking experience with machining / CNC's and AutoCAD.

Work Environment / Other Info:

• The standard schedule for this role is 6pm to 2:30am (3rd shift). Monday to Friday plus weekends 75%.
• Significant overtime is expected, generally averaging 16 hours per week. Overtime is paid at 1.5x. Doubletime is paid at 2.0x if working on Sunday (and already over 40 hours).
