Akkodis is seeking a Manufacturing Engineer for a Contract job with a client in Des Plaines, Illinios. The ideal candidate must have a solid background in technical skills and a deep understanding of manufacturing operations and dynamics within a company's environment.Rate Range: $30/hr to $32/hr; The rate may be negotiable based on experience, education, geographic location, and other factors.Manufacturing Engineer job responsibilities include:

• Leading complex manufacturing engineering tasks, coordinating multiple elements.
• Setting direction and taking ownership of projects with innovative problem-solving approaches.
• Anticipating and identifying key issues for resolution, often without precedent.
• Working closely with peers and mentors in peer reviews to confirm task approach rationale.

Desired Qualifications:

• Bachelor's Degree in Science or Engineering (Electrical, Software, Mechanical, or related field).
• 0-3 years of experience in a related field.
• Strong technical problem-solving skills and the ability to manage complex manufacturing engineering tasks.
• Familiarity with manufacturing operations, systems, and business objectives.
• Capability to work effectively with peers and mentors to confirm task direction and validation activities.
