We are a 4 year running Top Workplace in the Greater St. Louis area. Job SummaryJob Responsibilities
  • Provide direct engineering support to manufacturing operations in a heavy manufacturing environment.
  • Perform design, fabrication, modification and/or evaluation of manufacturing operations.
  • May prepare manufacturing plans, create and maintain manufacturing bill of materials, and create and maintain process instruction set. May also conduct support studies, and provide analysis or tests in the development of manufacturing operations. May assign work to drafters and/or technicians.
  • Position will be involved with the design, development, modification and analysis of products. Troubleshoot and diagnoses problems with existing products and makes modifications and improvements as needed. Compile and evaluate product design and test data.
  • Evaluate and recommend design approaches to meet production requirements for new or improved products.
  • Working knowledge of statistical techniques in development such as Design of Experiments and SPC.
  • Responsibilities are moderate in scope where analysis of situations or data involves a variety of common factors
  • Only general guidance is needed on routine work; instructions on new assignments as needed •
  • Support, communicate, reinforce and defend the mission, values and culture of the organization
Job Responsibilities Part IIQualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in an applicable engineering field with 2-5 years applicable engineering experience or equivalent combination of education/training and experience
  • Experience with welding (MIG, TIG, etc.), heavy machining, precision hydraulic assembly, mechanical and electromechanical assembly and product acceptance testing preferred.
