Who We Are: We have operations in Saint Louis, Missouri, Huntington Beach, California, and Milford, Connecticut, serving local, national and international customers, both military and commercial. The company supplies platform controls, aircraft components, liquid oxygen equipment, and emergency breathing equipment to its customers. Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned
  • Develops, evaluates, and improves manufacturing methods.
  • Using SolidWorks, Designs and qualifies fixtures and tooling for assembly and manufacturing.
  • Designs, specifies and qualifies test equipment.
  • Analyzes and plans work force utilization, space requirements, and workflow, and designs layout of equipment and workspace for maximum efficiency.
  • Confers with planning and design staff concerning product design to ensure efficient production methods.
  • Project leader on NPD product integration into the manufacturing facility and represents operations at stage gate meetings on small to medium sized projects.
  • Confers with vendors to determine product specifications and arrange for purchase of equipment, materials, or parts, and evaluates products according to specifications and quality standards.
  • Estimates production times, staffing requirements, and related costs to provide information for management decisions.
  • Applies statistical methods to estimate future manufacturing requirements and potential.
  • Identifies, recommends and initiates continuous improvement projects in regard to processing, tooling and product flow.
  • Prepare, review, and approve technical drawings and documents within a PDM environment.
Requirements Knowledge equal to a Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Manufacturing, or Industrial Engineering or related field and up to three years of experience; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
