Manufacturing Engineer

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Manufacturing Engineer to join our team. As a Manufacturing Engineer, you will focus on optimizing production processes, developing manufacturing methods, and ensuring the efficient operation of CNC mills and lathes. This role requires strong technical expertise, problem-solving skills, and the ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams to drive continuous improvement initiatives.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement manufacturing processes for CNC mills and lathes to improve efficiency and product quality.
  • Collaborate with design and production teams to ensure manufacturability and adherence to specifications.
  • Create and optimize CNC programs using MasterCam, SolidWorks CAM, and other relevant software.
  • Conduct time studies, process analysis, and root cause investigations to identify areas for improvement.
  • Implement lean manufacturing principles to reduce waste and enhance productivity.
  • Design and maintain tooling, fixtures, and jigs to support production.
  • Ensure compliance with safety and quality standards, including ISO 9001.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve production issues related to machining and equipment performance.
  • Stay updated on advancements in machining technologies and industry best practices.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Manufacturing Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in a manufacturing engineering role, with a focus on CNC machining.
  • Proficiency in MasterCam, SolidWorks, and AutoCAD for programming and design.
  • Strong understanding of CNC mills and lathes, including setup, operation, and maintenance.
  • Familiarity with GD&T and blueprint interpretation.
  • Experience with lean manufacturing and process improvement methodologies.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Knowledge of safety protocols and best practices in a manufacturing environment.

Work Schedule:

  • Full-time, typically Monday-Friday with occasional flexibility based on production needs.
