Discover more at Job SummaryManufacturing Engineer will plan, direct, coordinate, and implement product improvement projects and manufacturing projects. Projects will include the development or improvement of product designs, materials, equipment, processes, packaging, and quality. Projects are expected to reduce cost, be completed on schedule, and within budget.Job Responsibilities

• Communicate with suppliers, customers, technical and production staff.
• Serve as the first point-of-contact for technical issues and questions.
• Perform fault diagnostics and root cause analysis.
• Read and understand technical documents such as manuals, drawings, specifications, contracts, procedures, work instructions and quality standards.
• Determine product compliance with technical documents.
• Material disposition authority.
• Lead lean manufacturing actives and build teams to identify and eliminate waste.
• Understand and participate in lean-manufacturing activities.
• Develop project budgets, timelines, validation plans, launch plans and coordinate staff.
• Develop product designs, equipment, processes, packaging, and quality controls.
• Develop production layouts and establish workflows.
• Purchase, build, install, and repair equipment.
• Develop equipment maintenance requirements, documents, and schedules.
• Create manuals, drawings, and quality standards.
• Create specifications, procedures, and work instructions.
• Confirm product design, equipment, processes, packaging, and quality controls are compliant.
• Measure product design, equipment, process, packaging, and quality control capability.
• Validate product designs, equipment, processes, packaging, and quality controls.
• Perform time studies, evaluate financial impact and establish production standards.
• Implement product designs, equipment, processes, packaging, and quality controls.
• Maintain production methods, resource groups, and part masters.
• Review new product designs for manufacturability and completeness.

RequirementsEducation: Mechanical, manufacturing, industrial, or related degree. Experience: 2+ years of related experience OR an equivalent amount of education and experiencePhysical: Must be able to sit, stand, walk, bend, stooping, twist, reach, reach overhead.
