Manufacturing Engineer - Stanley Black & Decker : Job Details

And expectations for this role will develop and grow as the individual expands their knowledge and skills in this position. You'll get to: Document existing processes using process flow diagrams, standard work, part routings and bills of material. Improves manufacturing efficiency by analyzing and planning work flow, space requirements, and equipment layout for various manufacturing processes. Evaluate manufacturing processes by using Lean Six Sigma Manufacturing Tools, applying knowledge of manufacturing, tooling, materials and soliciting observations from operators. Implementation of process control plans. Function as technical liaison between purchasing, engineering, manufacturing, and suppliers to resolve quality issue, and drive process and product improvement. Maintain knowledge of, and update management of, technology advances as they apply to capital equipment, tooling, fixturing, controls, and their relevant impact on future operations.
