For this role, the pay range is $70,000 - $100, 000, with individual compensation determined by your unique skills, experience level, and other relevant factorsSchedule:* Enjoy a 4-day work week, 10-hours a day (Monday-Thursday Between 6:00am and 6:00pm).* Additional hours may be required during busier timesWhat You Will be Doing:Develops and implements optimal, cost-effective manufacturing systems in accordance with product specifications and quality standards. Recommends and implements improvements to production processes, methods and controls.To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions.* Design, develop, and optimize manufacturing processes, production flow, and assembly methods* Prepare and maintain facility and equipment layouts for efficient workflow* Perform cost, quality, and efficiency analysis for products and processes* Develop and revise CAD drawings, including flat patterns, fixtures, jigs, and weldments* Create and maintain fixtures and jigs to support production line efficiency and quality* Generate engineering change notices (ECNs) For Products and process improvements* Write and implement work instructions and procedures for machine setups, preventative maintenance, and troubleshooting* Identify and mitigate high-risk equipment and tooling issues through repair or replacement strategies* Evaluate and improve new product designs for manufacturability and efficiency* Set up and optimize production lines, ensuring effective layout, workflow, and tool selection* Address ergonomic and efficiency improvements in production processes* Troubleshoot and resolve equipment or tooling issues with cost-effective solutions* Represent manufacturing on cross-functional teams and train employees on best practicesWhat You Will Bring:Required:* Bachelor's degree in Manufacturing Engineering or related field* 3+ years of manufacturing engineering experience* Strong initiative, ability to work independently, and desire to learn* Ability to manage multiple priorities effectively* Compliance with ISO procedures and ability to create process documentation as required* Proficiency in reading and writing in English* Highly organized, self-motivated and can work independently* Must be highly self-motivated, work with minimal supervision and be able to perform multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment* Strong interpersonal and leadership skills as well as excellent communication skills (both written and oral) with ability to manage multiple prioritiesPreferred:* Proficient with CAD software (e.g. SolidWorks, AutoCAD) and manufacturing process design* Hands-on experience in a manufacturing environment* Experience with DBWorks or Enterprise PDM* Expertise in design for manufacturability (DFM) and design verification testing and understanding of PDFEA/DFMEA principles* Engineering Change Management experience* Knowledge of designing injection-molded, cast, forged, machined, sheet metal, and extruded parts* Project management experience, including the gate process for new product development (NPD) launchesWhere and How You Will WorkOn-site Engagement and Collaboration:This role works on-site in Bloomington, MN, where your direct contributions will make a real impact.
