The Manufacturing Engineer-Weld position will act as the main point of contact for all weld processes and production support. Working collaboratively with cross functional teams, the ME-Weld, will be responsible for continuously improving the welding processes in safety, quality, delivery, and cost. This role will support all welding applications and provide technical expertise in a hands-on environment.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES :

Act as the point of contact for all weld processes and production support (MIG, TIG, Robotics)

Work collaboratively with cross-functional teams to continuously improve the welding processes in safety, quality, delivery and cost

Support all welding applications and provide technical expertise

Identify, evaluate, and implement new weld technology, equipment and processes

Define, document, and control weld process and procedures

Train, coach, and mentor cross-functional teams for consistent weld processing

Design, build, test, and implement production tooling where necessary

Assist cross-functional teams for new model launch

Assist in the day-to-day resolution of weld problems arising on the production floor

Bachelor's degree in Engineering, or related field desired, or equivalent qualification or a combination of job-related education

Lean manufacturing experience preferred

Read, interpret, create production documentation

Proficient with fabrication and welding equipment

Proficient with Office, CAD, SolidWorks

Results-oriented and self-driven

Strong leadership and training abilities

Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities

Ability to work efficiently with minimal supervision

Ability to lift/manipulate 40lbs, large components, tools throughout the day is preferred
