This role will use CAD design and programming skills, hand and power tools and finding creative solutions for continuous improvements. We provide the tools and controlled environment to enable you to perform your best!Job Type:* Full-Time located in Sullivan IL* 1st shiftSalary:* Hourly rate commensurate with experienceBenefits:* Paid Time Off (PTO) combines vacation, sick, personal days for flexibility of time off* Paid Holidays* Medical, Dental, Vision, Life Insurance* Health & Wellness Program Benefits with incentives* Retirement Plans* Tuition ReimbursementCore Responsibilities of our Manufacturing Engineering Technician:* Use appropriate Computer Aided Design and Engineering (CAD/CAE) software to document and maintain the detailed design of fixtures, tooling and equipment layout* Assist in the procurement and implementation of fixtures, tooling and equipment* Be capable of applying geometric dimensioning and tolerancing methods to designs* Support the conceptual design of new fixtures, tooling and equipment* Engage in problem solving activity, implement corrective actions, and effectively communicate those actions* Participate in the research and development of new components, methods and materials for application in production environment* Be instrumental in cost avoidance and cost reduction activities* Assist Manufacturing Engineers* A minimum of 2 years of related experience in maintenance or associate's degree from a 2-year college or technical school. Having construction experience with aluminum extrusion, electrical wiring (12V and 120V) experience and hydraulic and pneumatic systems experience is desired.* Experience in troubleshooting and/or repairing electro-mechanical assembly systems and their preventative maintenance* Ability to read electronic schematics, test procedures, troubleshoot DC torque tools and some PLC programming (understands sensors, switches, relays, E-stops, light curtains, cylinders, slides, conveyors, press, etc.)* Working knowledge of 480V 3 phase safety and troubleshooting
