LHH is seeking a Manufacturing Manager to lead and manage our client's production team, ensuring the efficient execution of processes and the delivery of high-quality products. This role will require a dynamic individual who can drive performance improvements, cost reductions, and effectively oversee production operations. As a change agent, you will play a key role in elevating plant performance and leading initiatives that bring impactful results. The anticipated salary for this role direct hire role is between $70,000-$85,000 a year.
Responsibilities:
- Provide leadership and management of production employees, processes, and products.
- Lead initiatives to elevate levels of plant performance and achieve high-impact results.
- Focus on cost reduction programs and drive process improvements while evaluating and recommending capital improvements.
- Monitor and measure department performance for continual improvement.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure production schedules meet customer demand, adjusting for changes in demand, resources, and equipment performance.
- Oversee and mentor direct reports, providing coaching and training to improve team performance.
Requirements:
- Proven leadership ability and experience in motivating and engaging teams.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
- Strong conflict-management, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent work experience (7+ years).
- Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Outlook, and other related software.
- Exceptional communication skills and the ability to effectively manage multiple duties and responsibilities.
