The recognized leading manufacturer of application tooling for the aircraft, aerospace, and high reliability electronics industries, with experience that spans eight decades, is looking for a Manufacturing Manager in their Orlando, Florida location. Their products have been used on every defense system, aircraft program, on land or sea. This organization has over 200 employees and growing. Their tools are very niche for the aerospace and defense industry. This is a company with a lot of veteran leadership. 90% on senior leadership is prior military and they are looking to add the next great veteran hire. Looking for someone who is a great leader and has a vision to grow and improve upon their manufacturing capabilities.In this role: lead the manufacturing function to meet or exceed output and delivery targets while simultaneously meeting customer requirements and standards. Responsible for developing an enthusiastic, motivated, and flexible team by building working relationships that encourage strong teamwork and personal development. Foster an environment of continuous improvement and modern manufacturing principles by highlighting deficiencies and recommending changes in training, working practices, and processes. The role involves promoting company core values and overseeing daily operations of machining, assembly, production planning, and maintenance departments. The individual must assess team members' skills and strengths to align them with business needs, ensuring safety and quality standards are upheld. Key responsibilities include leading the manufacturing team to exceed customer expectations, managing staff recruitment, development, and training, tracking performance metrics, and optimizing production.Strategically, the role focuses on executing the company's vision through continuous improvement initiatives, modern manufacturing methodologies, and leadership development to drive growth.Base salary, $170K - $190K plus bonus benefits and a 401k. Will be important to show organization your experience in manufacturing and continuous improvement principles. No travel and will pay for relocation.
