We are seeking an experienced Operations Director with a financial leadership background to oversee the operational and monetary activities of our thriving outdoor recreation equipment manufacturing plant. As the Manufacturing Operations Director, you will drive profitability by managing budgets, analyzing costs, and ensuring efficient resource use.

HIGHLIGHT: Our client is experiencing exceptional growth in outdoor recreational equipment with plans to double in size in the next 24 months. The President seeks a highly driven and exceptional business leader to run the entire day-to-day operations.

Core Responsibilities:

• Conduct comprehensive financial analyses to uncover insights for strategic decision-making and performance enhancement. In collaboration with the president, assist in developing and managing annual budgets and forecasts.
• Ensure precise product costing, variance analysis, and cost control.
• Oversee and optimize the implementation of new ERP and MRP systems for streamlined operations and data integrity.
• Provide financial and total operation recommendations to support the plant and business's long-term strategic growth initiatives.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Business. An MBA is a plus!
• Minimum 10 years of manufacturing operations and financial management experience.
• Experience in cost accounting, budgeting, and financial reporting.
• Strong experience in ERP, MRP systems, and advanced accounting/finance principles.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving capabilities with a big-picture perspective.
• Demonstrated leadership experience managing and developing high-performing teams.
• In-depth understanding of manufacturing and production business acumen.
