You could join our team if you:
- Have at least a high school diploma or equivalent
- Can work up to 12-hour shifts, including some Saturdays
- Have some prior manufacturing experience (this is preferred, but not necessary)
- Are enthusiastic about learning and building new skills!
Required on All Positions:
- Be a leader in safety and quality standards
- Troubleshoot mechanical and system issues
- Perform machine set-ups and change-overs to different types of products
- Process, understand, and plan for orders
- Participate in training of other team members and improvement of own skillset in order to operate multiple machines within the plant
- Take direction from management, supervisors, and operators
- Complete varied tasks within the plant, including frequently lifting items of up to 50 pounds and infrequently lifting items of up to 75 pounds.
- Strong attention to detail and comfortable using computerized equipment
- Communicate and work effectively with a diverse workforce
- Operate lift equipment, stand-up or sit-down, at heights of up to 25 feet, as needed
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
- Prior machine operator and/or forklift experience is preferred.
- Must possess basic math skills that include addition, subtraction, multiplication, division, fractions, and calculation of averages.
- Ability to read standard and metric rulers.
- Ability to use light tools such as wrenches, channel locks, and screw drivers.
- Ability to analyze, interpret, and problem solve in a variety of situations.
- Ability to work individually and in small groups.
- Ability to operate a computer and use Microsoft Office related software.
