Manufacturing Production Worker - Prairie Farms Dairy : Job Details

Job descriptionJob Summary:We are seeking a dedicated person to join our Production Team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for various tasks to support our manufacturing and cooler/loadout operations. Experience:Proven experience in a laborer role within a manufacturing settingBasic Responsibilities include but not limited to:- Must be able to follow instructions and work independently.- operating high speed packaging equipment to process milk, cream, and other dairy products, following specified methods and formulas.- connect pipes, assemble fittings, turn valves.- operate palletizer and other powered equipment.- complete all paperwork accurately and neatly in compliance with company GMP's, SOP's and safety requirements.- May load and unload milk trailers.- Will be responsible to keep work area safe and clean and work in a safe and efficient manner.- Will be responsible for following both written and verbal instructions and performing basic math and completing written daily reports. - Must be able to work in a 30 to 40 degree environment along with warm temperatures. - Eight (8) hour days, min/40 hour week with required 4 hour overtime when needed, on a daily basis. - Shifts may change weekly. - Must be able to lift 50+ pounds.- This is strenuous work requiring good corrected vision, hearing, stooping, kneeling, reaching, climbing, lifting, and the ability to work under these conditions every day. Other duties as assigned by supervisor will be required. Job Type: Full-timePay: $24.70 - $25.85 per hourExpected hours: 40 - 45 per weekBenefits include:
