Our client in manufacturing is looking for an experienced Manufacturing Project Engineer to join their team onsite at the facility in the Portage County region of Wisconsin (USA).
You will come with a background in project management and chemical engineering ideally and have experience working at a larger manufacturing facility.
You will be responsible for 3 pillars in this role including environment, health and safety compliance, process improvement engineering and special projects.
You will be working onsite at the facility Monday through Friday general business hours and be available for an on-call rotation to support the facility as needed.
Up to $100K salary with incentives and full benefits including a 401K match.
Some of your responsibilities will include:
-Planning and implementing Process Improvement projects
-Supporting MOC systems for plant modifications
-Ensuring plant reliability through equipment and materials recommendations
-Budgeting and cost estimations for new projects
-Supporting plant operations and maintenance teams in troubleshooting high level or repeat issues to closure
-Evaluating cost alternatives and overall improvements of plant operations
-Ensure compliance with construction, engineering, safety and environmental codes, policies, procedures and regulations
-PHA action item resolution
-Lead the process for safety related incident investigations
-Good engineering practices (RAGAGEP) and all process safety practices are adhered to
-Maintain safety documentation and other manuals related to technology, process improvements, design or changes

Requirements:
-3-5 years work experience in a heavy industrial, manufacturing environment or related industry working in a similar role
-Degree in Engineering or Chemical Engineering
-Project management experience and or certification
-Continuous Manufacturing process preferred
-Lean, Six-Sigma experience preferred
-Safety minded and up to date knowledge of codes, regulations and policies
-Strong communication skills (both verbal and written)
-Solution focused
-Must be available to work onsite at the facility full time
-Must consent to and pass a criminal background check
-Must be legally authorized to work in the USA for any employer
