Summary:

The Manufacturing Quality Control Associate will provide quality oversight on the production floor, ensuring compliance with approved procedures and BRCGS standards while supporting production.

Requirements:

  • High school diploma/associate degree with equivalent combination of education and work experience may be considered.
  • 1-2 years of experience in quality within a BRCGS/ SQF/ ISO9001 manufacturing environment.
  • Experience running the Flexo/ Die Cutter/ Gluer/ Labeler/ Corrugator is preferred
  • Ability to understand, follow, and apply approved procedures.
  • Basic computer skills with knowledge of MS Office.
  • Ability to understand problems and propose practical solutions.
  • Excellent written and interpersonal skills. Ability to work well with/lead all levels of the organization.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced team environment with changing priorities.
  • Detail-oriented and task-focused, with the ability to meet deadlines and prioritize assigned work.
  • Ability to recognize the need for escalation of issues.
  • Self-motivated and willingness to learn.

Responsibilities:

  • As a Manufacturing Quality Control Associate, you will possess strong attention to detail, excellent communication skills, and the ability to multi-task and maintain work consistency on a daily basis.
  • Understand and competently use the measurement tools required.
  • Conduct and Document regular inspections of production processes to ensure compliance with quality control standards.
  • Identify, document and control non-conforming material as per company procedures.
  • Provide training on assigned quality plant floor processes and best practices
  • Support Line Operators & Shift Supervisors in running/ troubleshooting production jobs to ensure efficiency and quality is achieved.
  • Implement and monitor safety standards to ensure they meet or exceed standard guidelines.
  • Collaborate with supervisors and team members to maintain a culture of quality and safety.
