Job Description :

This is a contract role for 3-4 months.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute effective recruiting strategies to fill manufacturing positions in a timely and cost-effective manner.
  • Partner with hiring managers to understand staffing needs, job specifications, and to develop job descriptions and recruitment plans.
  • Utilize various sourcing techniques to identify and attract candidates, including job boards, social media, networking events, and employee referrals.
  • Conduct initial screening of resumes, perform interviews, and coordinate hiring processes to ensure a smooth candidate experience.
  • Foster relationships with trade schools, colleges, and industry associations to source candidates and promote the company as an employer of choice.
  • Manage the candidate pipeline, keeping an active pool of qualified candidates for future openings.
  • Stay informed about trends and innovations in manufacturing recruitment, including labor market conditions and best practices in talent acquisition.
  • Ensure compliance with all federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations throughout the recruitment process.
  • Track and report on recruitment metrics, analyzing data to improve recruitment strategies and processes.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 3 years of recruiting experience, with at least 2 years focused on manufacturing roles.
  • Strong understanding of manufacturing operations and the skills required for various manufacturing positions.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to engage effectively with candidates and hiring managers at all levels.
  • Proficient in the use of recruitment software and candidate management systems.
  • Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities.
  • Strong negotiation and problem-solving skills.
  • Knowledge of employment laws and regulations related to recruiting and hiring.
