As a Manufacturing Reliability Site Resource II, we want you to take a new approach to what otherwise might be the status quo. This role isn't just about keeping the plant running smoothly; it's about contributing to the entire organization's success. This is an on-site role located at our Rome plant, with a schedule of Monday through Friday, 6 am-4 pm with required flexibility to meet business demands! In this role, you will use your skills as a self-driven leader and nimble thinker to take an active approach to enable positive change. You will be responsible for driving long-term projects focused on improving Overall Equipment Effectiveness (OEE). These initiatives aim to enhance plant efficiency and productivity over an extended period.
A Taste of What You'll Be Doing - Support and Lead KSUM Productivity Projects - Take charge of KSUM (Key Strategic Unit Measures) productivity projects. Collaborate closely with the Continuous Improvement Manager and Engineering Team from conceptualization to implementation. You will lead at least two cost savings projects annually.
- Strategize to Win & Impacting Results- Continually collaborating with hourly and salary personnel to identify and troubleshoot chronic losses utilizing data analysis and root cause problem-solving techniques. Utilizing KWS systems and tools to deliver a reduction in source of loss and drive out inefficiencies within the manufacturing process.
- CI Problem-Solving Tools - As a member of the CIPO (Continuous Improvement Process Owner) team, utilize problem-solving tools to drive OEE improvements. These tools may include methodologies like Six Sigma, Lean, and TPM (Total Productive Maintenance).
- Autonomous Maintenance Center of Excellence (COE) Involvement - Play a key role in the Autonomous Maintenance COE. Support the plant's progression in implementing Autonomous Maintenance practices. Work closely with cross-functional teams to identify opportunities, implement changes, and track progress.
- Daily KPLAS Data Audits and KPI Ownership - Regularly audit KPLAS (Key Performance Leading and Supporting) data to monitor plant performance. Take ownership or lead monthly KPIs (Key Performance Indicators) aligned with CI projects to drive OEE improvements.
We're Looking for Someone With - Bachelor's degree in industrial engineering, manufacturing engineering, or another technical or business field
- Exceptional ability to influence and lead cross-functional teams across all levels of the organization while multi-tasking and prioritizing requests from multiple sources
- Proven experience leading continuous improvement projects (Lean, TPM, Six Sigma, KWS, IWS, HPO)
- Manufacturing experience
- Previous experience driving continuous improvement initiatives
- A passion for improvement and thinking outside the box while being a change agent
