Job Description SummaryCoordinate and expedite the flow of materials (from suppliers and also within departments) according to production schedules. Plan and schedule material/production needs. Impacts quality of own work and the work of others on the team. Executes standard operational/technicaltasks typically subject to instructions and work routines. There is latitude to rearrange the sequence to complete task/duties based on changing work situations.Job DescriptionRoles and Responsibilities* Manage master planning, material processes and systems, prepare and update production schedules and purchasing needs. Ensure operational alignment with production plan and KPIs. Optimize inventory and process improvements.* Broadening knowledge of own technical discipline to execute policy/strategy. May include support roles with specialized technical field of knowledge; still acquiring higher level knowledge and skills.* Basic understanding of key business drivers; uses this understanding to accomplish own work. Good understanding of how work of own team integrates with other teams and contributes to the area.* May have some autonomy to make decisions within a defined framework. Resolves issues in situations that require good technical knowledge and judgment within established procedures. Consults more senior team members for issues outside of defined instructions/parameters.* A job at this level requires good interpersonal skills and may be required to lead a junior team. For customer facing roles, develops strong customer relationships and serves as the interface between customer and GE. Explains technical information to others.Required Qualifications* High School diploma or equivalent* 5+ years of experience in materials and manufacturing environment* Independent worker and self-motivation* Organized and efficient worker* Able to work off hours and have flexibility as needed* Advanced computer skills within Excel* Ability to work cross functionally with different technical teams* Strong communication skills, to different levels of leadershipDesired Characteristics* Bachelors degree-supply chain management, industrial engineering, business admin, general engineering* Prior Experience within Oracle* CPIM Certification* VBA/Macro knowledge in Excel* Prior experience with MRP#LI-LRG1#LI-OnsiteAdditional InformationGE HealthCare offers a great work environment, professional development, challenging careers, and competitive compensation.
